The rules that surprise people
Request 48 hours ahead
The boat is free, but not on demand
The shared speedboat runs to the resort’s timetable from Bach Dang pier and Binh An waterbus station. It is free for your room’s standard number of guests, but only if requested at least 48 hours in advance; extra guests and trips before 7 am or after 7 pm are charged.
Do send your arrival time and preferred pier as soon as you have a booking reference.
Don’t assume you can turn up at the pier and board.
Paid at the resort
Children, extra beds and breakfast
Children up to five are free in their parents’ bed. From six to eleven, breakfast and extra beds are charged per child per day, and from 12 guests count as adults. Only one extra guest aged 12 or over is allowed per room.
Do add the children’s ages to your booking so the right beds are ready.
Don’t count on extra beds for two older children — book a two-bedroom type.
House rules
No outside food, quiet after 9 pm
Outside food and drink are held by the hotel until you leave. Music must be off after 9 pm, drones are banned and professional photo shoots need permission. The resort is non-smoking except in designated areas.
Do plan to eat at the resort’s restaurants and budget for it.
Don’t bring a picnic or a bottle from the city for the villa.
